I created this last month and had problems posting it than forgot to do it. The River Walk is just gorgeous and a fun place to visit. When I went to school here almost 50 years ago it was a dirty, scary place. We had a great time.

We arrived in Iowa a few days ago. We have the outline of a map that we fill it with a sticker of the state once we have visited that state. I can't see filling it in if we are just driving through. We have to do something to make a memory before we can fill in the state.
I searched and searched the Internet for something memorable to do or see in Iowa and there really was not a whole lot. But as it happened I stumbled upon "Bridges and Madison County" on the map. After investigating I found out that's where the movie The Bridges of Madison County was filmed in 1995. I loved that movie. Think I've seen it 5 times or more and still cry as if it was the first time. We decided to take a ride out there and what a serendipity day we had.
